LA bassist "Ready" Freddie Washington has toured and recorded with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Michael Jackson, Al Jarreau, Aaron Neville, Lionel Richie, Anita Baker, B.B. King, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Donald Fagen, The Crusaders, George Benson, Denise Williams, Johnny Mathis, Burt Bacharach, Aaliyah, and Kenny Loggins. As if that wasn't enough, he is currently the bass player in Steely Dan. In addition to these impressive credits, he is also well known for his songwriting contribution to "Forget Me Nots" by multi-instrumentalist Patrice Rushen, on which he was also the bassist.
